The mission of Off the Ales Homebrew Club is to help everyone learn more about beer, beer evaluation and brewing techniques. Our primary interest is beer but we will also research and experiment with other beverages: wine, mead, cider – really, anything we can ferment. We want to promote the hobby of home brewing.
It’s also a social club. Our research involves, as you may have guessed, sampling together the libations we make or good commercial examples of fermented beverages. The consumption of samples allows for examination of the various styles of home brewed beverages for the purposes of competition, evaluation, feedback and problem solving. Therefore we encourage personal responsibility when using beer or other alcohol containing beverages.
